The only difference, I believe, is the paint. I think there were two paint schemes ,flames and tribal. I have the tribal.

I bought my Rocket 3 Roadster just a couple of months ago without having even sat on one. My philosophy was simple - at the age of 65 this is only going to get more difficult so get on with it which is what I did. It's a marvellous machine and I am delighted.

I'm one of those compulsive idiots, and did the same thing with my new 2013 Rocket Roadster, and my 06 Harley Sportster, and my 04 Kawasaki ZRX1200r. Signed the papers, handed cash, never sat on either one. Needless to say, the Harley and Kaw are in the barn, on battery tenders! Seems like maybe the Roadster is starting to catch on. I've seen two others in my area, and I live in the sticks!:)

Almost there....

One more question and that's a loaded statement, I just joined the forum, there will be many questions. For those of you who purchased new, what kind of deals did you get or is MRP par for the course?

msrp was all I got I did get 1000 off being military that was it oh I lied they gave me a 10 dollar patch I liked

Lol.....being military as well they are offering me $500 off, something is better than nothing. I'm going in tomorrow to see if I can work a deal but I have the feeling 500 minus MRP is all I will see. Maybe I can convince them to give me some store credit as well:eek: worth a shot anyway.
