R3 Captains that have had Drive Lines Rebuilt?

Good point Barzeen I am getting ready to order some forged SC/Turbo pistons I will probably get the ceramic coated like my second stock set I'm running now. If you get 11.25 piston you will need shackels to hold you to that torque monster. I bet when Less gets his up a running his arm length grows!!!!!

I've learned that while we try to evaluate our problems on the R3..we usually communicate between a few who offer up on the questions...and that there could be several hundred more captains out there that may NOT have experienced any problems..just a thought...this may be difficult to sort through...

Well . . . it's been two weeks since I dropped of the R3.

Still sitting in the back of the shop collecting dust.

Talked with the shop today and they told me there are a couple other bikes ahead of mine they have to do complete rebuilds on . . . oh well.

Maybe in the next week they'll get into it and find out what's up with it. The saga continues.

Tuesday of this week will make three weeks in the back of the shop awaiting a repair.

Apparently I got bumped by a couple of new BMW 800's that their engines blew. Chinese versions of the Rotax. Don't think they're a tight on specs as the German versions.

Waiting. . . . waiting . . .

Okay . .. I know I'm sounding a lot like a whiner here, but dang . .. 4 weeks (month) and not even a wrench turned on my R3.

Are all shops this backed up. Come on guys . . . let me hear I'm not the only one. Jeez . .. I hope the parts don't take another month, and then another month to put it all back together. :?
