R3 Captains that have had Drive Lines Rebuilt?

Triple trouble said:
First output replacement at 9,000 miles, second at 25,000 miles and I am 180lbs soaking wet. Car tire on for just a few thousand just before the upgrade fitted.

Did you have to pay for either rebuilds?

Do you ride pillions and have you had any burn outs etc.? Inquiring minds still want to know.

Thanks!
Gary

drive shaft?

My drive shaft just split in half "the aluminum body"from left to right.I weigh 200 lb and the passager was 125 lb.I was traveling at 45 and it made a snap and thats all she wrote. Is this common?

I am just over 300#.... previous owner of my bike wasn't as heavy but still probably ~ 250ish

25000 miles with no problems in the driveline that I know of.......

39K I am not heavy but I do have and use a lot more torque then the standard R3 comes with. I have only blown two pistons and two cylinder liners thrashing the living hell out of mine I used to say mine see 's triple digits every time I take her out now I say mine see 130++++ every time and I usually slipp her in the next gear at 65K on the tach.

I cant believe too, I've nothing but problems with this bike and I own 3 Triumphs. Its been in the shop for 16 mouths.I'll try to send pic. The bike realy slides when the gear oil hits the 240 rear tire!

I'm 350lbs... Turbocharged 200RWHP/215TQ last 6K miles - 22,500mi total - no probs - no upgrade kit... Knock on wood... Jardines/Unis before that...

Mike...

I almost feel like I should turbo charge it, or at least go 11.0-1 pistons and cams

just so if it does go out I'll feel like I deserve it
