All that and don't forget to push the pistons back first before removing old pads I find that the best way to go about this to first get a can of Brake cleaner and spray from every direction you can while scrubing with a old tooth brush to clean the pistons and caliper as best you can then using a pair of flat blade screw drivers gentle work the pistons as far back into the caliper as possible(be carefull to not scrore the disk surface), Then remove Clips pull Locating Pins giving them a good clean while you are at it, remove pads again try and spray brake cleaner inside caliper as best you can and dont be scared to waste a bit more Brake cleaner to clean in there as best you can now is also a good time to get some fine wet and dry paper to take the shine of both sides of the disk again finish with more brake cleaner on disk let air dry and install new pads making sure the tabs fit into recese and Pins freely locate the pad in the correct position re insert clips give the brakes a few good pumps to bring them back up and take it for a run gently testing them then bed inRemove the 2 little clips, pull the 2 pins, remove the old pads, wiggle in the new ones, replace the pins and clips. Really simple.
