Question about Noise while releasing clutch

hi,
When bike is completely stopped and then after releasing clutch slowly in gear 1 I hear some noise from engine somewhere near clutch plates area.
Or when I try to move bike in parking lot or out of driveway out of garage and we need that gear 1 slow clutch to move it little bit.

• It doesnt happen all the time.
• Clutch is working as usual
• this is happening for a while but I never bothered to ask about it.
• Not sure if this normal while releasing clutch
• I have like 9000km on ODo.

Any ideas whats going on?

Is it a grinding sound? If so, mine does that when letting off the clutch sometimes. I spoke with the dealer about it and they brushed it off by saying "triples sometimes make weird noises..." I suspect a clutch or transmission replacement, unfortunately, will be needed if I keep this bike for a few more years.

i find when i am first starting out, the clutch makes noise, and seems to a bit chattery and grabby, but once you get going it stops and is fine, seems to be when warmed up it is fine, but the noise doesn't sound like something is breaking

yes exactly this happens with me.

I have clutch judder, too.
I'm putting it down to the fact that the clutch and drive train have to be able to handle all of that torque.

I have 1080mi on my '23 and it has done this a few random times when cold but seems to be going away.

yes, you are right, it doesnt happen when its warm or lets say 20miles run,

I just put it down to being the nature of the beast, sort of like Yamaha Virago 750's and there crazy start noise they would make sometimes

I spoke with a mechanic friend about this and his theory sounds very plausible. He thinks that due to a design flaw an orifice in the clutch fluid line may be too narrow to push the thicker-when-cold fluid through as required for smooth operation, or the fluid that is put into these reservoirs is too thick to begin with.
