howdy fellas. should have more pics soon as i should be getting my bike back in next 2 weeks or so but current testing is showing over 30hp gain!!!!! Final numbers should be through next week along with production price.

i reckon they'll come in about $1900 coated. could be slightly more or fair bit cheaper. All i know is at about 40-50 dollars per pony. thats pretty sexy. i'd buy 300 if i could at that price.
 
Nice numbers - except the one with the $ in front of it. If they're that good they'll be well worth it; just too much for me at the mo. But you never know.......
 
I take it this is on the still stock motor or is that after Neville has played with the head and pistons, The reason I ask is that Mitch with a bike tyre achieved about 30HP gain and I with a Cartyre (supposedly10% loss) gained 23HP with Sam's headers and Staintune Exhaust both on stock motor's. have you actually sat on it ? just curious about the righthand leg clearance from exhaust apart from that I think they are SEX and want some

yeah, he is thinking it might end up being a fair bit cheaper so hopefully for all of us they will be, he just needs to be 100% before he can say how much.


Well you see this is the interesting thing. The reason i say about 30hp is a bit of a guess as mine was reading 41hp gain, but i have removed secondaries, deristricted and running k&n so even though mine jumped a fair bit, it was letting more air in than a stock bike.

my base was higher than stock so if you apply a reverse sliding scale retrospective value calculation i reckon a stocker running 124-130rwhp x 24% = about 30hp depending on your stock base. conversely i would assume most considering a $1500- $1900 tune to gain 30rwhp most likely will have done at least what i have.

of course 175-180rwhp sounded a bit soft so with nev's magic wand keeping everything sedate and reliable as well as very tractable we are looking to get about 240rwhp out of my little girl. given the awesome result with exhaust, i think we are going to cream it.

sound and leg clearance.... remain to be described as bike is in sa and I'm in vic BUUUTTTT, they have had 5 or six guys of varying heights and clearance was fine. I have a mate in NSW looking into the same kit and the mock setup is on its way to him for a trial fit. he was expressing same concern but we will now soon. difference is i believe his is a standard or classic so pegs are further forward. He may have a slight issue with clearance but my roadster should be fine. Sound ... i'll tell you in a couple weeks! time will tell
 
I know who you are talking about and when he get mock up will have a look he has more than just pegs/legs that need clearance
 
My bikes setup is pretty much all you can do externally, ie secondary's removed, 3 K&N's, tuneboy, gi pro atre (even though with tuneboy there is no difference except a gear indicator), staintune with collector and I get 142 rwhp so with headers I would like to think I would clear the 150hp. Still watching with anticipation. If the setup goes comfortably onto a classic and gives noticeable hp think it is a very possible option for me, fingers crossed. I am so happy that my missus is buying her bits and pieces on Ebay as my payback of a possible new exhaust then won't be a shock to her, well thats my theory
 

gday scorp, don't want to speak for the guys building it but i reckon with what you've done adding this should add heaps more than 8hp. will chat with them Friday next week for an update and ask about your setup.

by the way, I'm only up at 3:40 am as I'm sitting up nursing my 13yo son who's got a stomach bug of some description. Talk about browny points, mopped the whole house at 1am and sanitised the whole main bathroom and powder room.

i feel a 3 day weekend ride coming on!!!!
