Ponters Headers

I love the look of them without the heat shields but....bloody hot and not summer yet.
 
Is in Qld for a few more days then when it gets home i will sort out for you.



Just sing out when you want me to send your baby home mate . Didn't take your bike on the PackRats ride today , took my Speed Triple... Glad i did too , the Lions Road between Rathdowney and Kyogle is rougher than when i went through on my Thunderbird a few months ago bumpy ol track in places !!!
 
Yikes, went for a ride with the missus to the city, new jeans on, have a scorched mark on them from the exhaust. Yes, it gets hot!!!
 


Mt Lindsay is a much better and safer road takes about 20 minutes more but nice hotmix surface and a full lane each way so you can get out of the way of errant 4WD's. If I'm on my bike it's Mt Lindsay in my 4WD it's the Lions Road.
 
Speed Triple loved it ... had Mitch and Brin (Tekcor) right on my taillight. Both rode exceptionally well to punt Rockets through there at the pace they did... i reckon anyway.

Scorp, you need to get the bike tuned properly or your pipe will be overheated and engine may run hot/lean etc etc Is your bike stock engined?
 
WARNING ... Do not accept offers from Ponters to go for a ride on his bike !!! Jumped back on my Rocket today for the first time since RDU ... after riding Ponters bike for a few days mine feels like someones pulled a plug-lead off it ... That torque is very very addictive
 
hey Ponter have you got the carbon fibre heat shield yet ... busting to see them, reckon it will really finnish them off
 

You're lucky. All he said to Malcy and me is that we could ride it if we could catch him. Then he vanished..........
 
nAh Havent got the shields or the bike...Have had one of the most major f***ups at work and this week is a real challenge.

Will have start getting it al sorted later in the week or next week.

Will keep you posted.
