Pic of Triple K&N's Under Bearclaw

I done got it done. I put the filters on. Put the air temperature sensor in the breeze and taped off the hole in the air filter box .
I cut some of the claw away and had to notch the 3rd filter to clear. I'll raise the cut on 1 and 2 next week when I have time. I ran the 12 minute tune, shut it off then started it again. I played with the throttle and this thing was torquing at the straps. I can't wait for the snow to melt to try it out.

Looks good buddy! Howz da crank case gonna breath if you taped off the hole in the air filter box?

Stuff the hole with filter foam, remove it and clean with other filters.
Had worked for me 5 years now and no mess to tools I carry in the box!

I've seen your post's re: foam filter in bottom & understand it would work, but it still breathes - I think Norm is going to cause problems by taping the hole shut

You will need s2 of this filter K&N 62-1340 Vent Filters. You will need 3 of this filter K&N RU-2780 if you want to change the air filters on your bike. Hope this helps you

@BigNorm & @skydog1000 So is this the 2nd vent filter connecting to the tappet cover and as my bike was fitted with a RamAir before I bought it will I have a 2nd vent filter too? I thought there was just one that fitted crankcase at rear of engine that used to have a hose to airbox. I'll have to look for it.
