Certainly you're analysis shows no adverse effects from the slightly lower viscosity. When I change my oil at 10k, I'll send a sample to Blackstone (although I'm not sure what the dealership put in at my first service). I'll fill it with some of the expensive stuff and compare the two (in another 10k miles).It does need an explanation from Blackstone.
Since wear on engine and transmission is what is important. And all wear factors are much better than average, I am thinking viscosity not important. That is what expensive oils use to get the big bucks maybe. LOOK AT OUR VISCOSITY NUMBERS! Will see.
