I hadn't thought of that, some tires do make crazy sounds

like warp has said tire
that tire cups and even a little curve will make it sound out. if u run your hand around the tire about half way between the center and outside u will fell the cupping.

edit

No this is not a rumble and the tires looks OK to me. It's definitely a howl, steady pitched all the while leaning over. It's like a one note instrument. After taking off the windshield the howl was less, sound reflection? Taking the lowers off reduced it yet again, but still there, although not as noticeable because of the wind noise.

Hoopla

Could be something in the transmission so when you lean over you're applying side loading.
Does it sound in the region of the engine or final drive?
I had a noise like that coming from my HONDA VTX 1800 it ended up being a bad bearing in the rear itself

I'd lean toward a bad bearing. Try re torquing front and rear axel shafts, or maybe they are over torqued? Still under warranty?
Have the dealer ride it and see what he says? You could lift the bike and spin the wheels they should spin freely, but you will get some drag from the brakes.

So I'm sweeping the lady through the corners, she dances nicely, and when I lean her over I get a mild howling from the engine casing, on left and right corners, is this a normal thing? Stock and 2000 miles

Just Wondering

Hoopla
Mine makes the same noise when leaning, I figure it was tires or windshield.
