So I'm sweeping the lady through the corners, she dances nicely, and when I lean her over I get a mild howling from the engine casing, on left and right corners, is this a normal thing? Stock and 2000 miles
It's as I described, riding straight up just the normal nuts and bolts sounds, lean over and a harmonic humming, I thought maybe the windshield, but I removed it and still present, with the wind shield everything is much noisier.
Does everybody have the nuts and bolts sounds below 3000 rpms, seems to get better above 3000, but still there. Should I be concerned about the nuts and bolts sounds, seems quite heavy at times, then the howling when leaning, doesn't seem like Triumph would have allowed for such a noisey engine. Being water cooled I thought it would be much quieter. I think the engine sounds are amplified through the tank.
I think you need a louder exhaust !
Long shot I know , but someone else recently
Posted similar if memory serves me correct ?
It was mentioned , possibly road noise from tyres .
The stock motor and pipes are so constipated , maybe it's the monster inside groaning for release ?
