The front grill on my touring is going to black. I've seen several Rockets with black grill inserts.... I like the look, so I'm going to give it a try. The outer framing is still going to be chrome as well as the rear facing grills, but there is no turning back now on the front. $10 to have one guy sandblast the grill to etch and prep it and $20 at another place around 15 minutes away to have it powder coated in a semi-gloss black. Hopefully it holds up and thanks for the input from several members here on the forum.
