Have purchased a lot of aftermarket parts for various motorcycles throughout the years. Some parts have worked out very well. Fit and finish exactly as described by the company. Performance parts the same Function was exactly how the company explained it would be. These company's I go back to and when asked go into great detail on how pleased i am with the product. On the other hand have dealt with company's that really mislead by advertising how a product works but in reality their product falls short. In such cases I have made every effort to correct the problem. Either by returning the part and asking for a refund or by talking to the company to correct the problem. Either way i have been very disappointed at times. No reasonable solution. I have sent parts back to company's after all efforts to correct the problem have been exhausted. Figure that is the ultimate slap in the face when you basically send the part back and right it off as a learning experience. Never have i kept a part that i was dissatisfied with and demand my money back. NO FREE RIDE> Luckily 90% of the parts purchased throughout the years I have been happy with. Con jobs work two ways Customer to business and business to customer nether are very respectful and says a lot about character.

Well said Sir! I’m pretty much the same as it goes to quality and customer support. Probably the most important thing to me is the customer support, how will a company take care of me with respect to returns, exchanges or money back. That said as a customer I owe it to the company to be fair, respectful and honest. My second career is now in Customer Service and the things I see people try to pull in order to either get money back or something for free is amazing, I’ve even been asked to change receipt dates so that customers can take advantage of a new promotion and get money back....a year since the original purchase.
I think the fact that small companies have to deal with this kind of attitude hurts the honest, hard working customers. I could go on and on but I think you get the point.
Cheers

Con jobs work two ways
Con jobs are not designed to last. It's all about hit and run. Those that continue, do so because they offer (not promise) a massive change for little cost - generally. Most WILL write it off - and that's what they count on.

I'm reading between the lines here... Not that anyone is going to listen, but I disputed one payment, not the whole thing, and at this moment, I am working with my bank to only dispute the shipping and cost to re-work. The remainder will go back to the vendor. I have said multiple times that I am happy with the craftsmanship, and performance.... Not the coating. Had the vendor worked with me in anyway, things would have went a lot different. I have conducted myself in a honorable manner, never stooping to call names, or bad mouth the vendor. I am an honorable person, I am not trying to get over on anyone. And I am really disappointed in the way that I have been maligned on this forum, and then again on FB from the vendor and the others that didn't know the whole story.
You are right, how you handle yourself really says a lot about your character.

Well that did not take long now did it? All I can say is if the shoe fits Cinderella then wear it. If not then do not stick your foot in mouth. enough said.
I don't think I did, but thank you, at least I got to put it out there, and it didn't get deleted.

ime - a risky occupation. I am not getting into the whys and wherefores - but anything said on the internet is open to misinterpretation. I watch politicians do it at work daily.

I am (as many will have noticed) generally measured in my choice of words unless I am deliberately being obtuse. And precisely because I want nothing to be unclear. Reading between the lines of my thoughts is likely to have one paying out to shrink for years.

Actions are louder than words. So I am doing as I said I would. I told my bank the total charges for the shipping and re-work. You will get back everything else. I'm done.

And here comes the truth.
You had your pipe re-coated ?
By jet hot ?

With their EXTREME HEAT coating process,
not just the standard coating system as has been applied to all Exhaust Systems that I have supplied :D
