No such thing as a free ride.

And here comes the truth.
You had your pipe re-coated ?
By jet hot ?

With their EXTREME HEAT coating process,
not just the standard coating system as has been applied to all Exhaust Systems that I have supplied :D
Yes I did. I even said that I did. The standard coating was inadequate. I've never said any different. I've said my piece, you should be getting the remainder of the disputed payment back shortly. Have a good life.

LIKE I stated Ive had several exhausts that had been coated deteriorate in a short time SO now my preference is polished stainless steel
Art - I always liked Stainless - even back when Stainless was considered by ALL mfrs to be too expensive. I have Stainless pipes on my Guzzi that have been on for 33 years. Structurally integral - aesthetically - well they match a 38 year old bike that is not a mantle-piece trophy.

But as we know stainless has some issues with heat cycles over time anywhere gas flow is altered. The main one being discolouration - even 16g. But it can also go crystalline.

My personal choice would be Stainless hardware with oil-smoothed "Stainless" ceramic. I do my own ceramics - Tried matte ceramic and whilst fine for guns - looks wrong on bikes. Also my opinion is that the inside should be coated BEFORE the outside. But that requires a sh*t load of chemical cleaning that is (from experience) a bast*rd to get right.

If I had the MONEY - I'd go polished internally ceramic'd Titanium.
