More engine would never be bad, but how they achieve it matters a lot. If it's a stroked 2.3... keep that ****. If it's a bored 2.3, YES please, but as I understand it, there is not room to bore much.

WE dont need a larger engine you can get power than most can use at 2300 cc I know a 240 + HP modded rocket is an exciting ride that can run low 9 high 8 second 1/4 mile times @155 to 160 mph and thats a very fast ride

I don't think we need a bigger engine .A lot of people sh*t themselves at the size it is now. Most of us probably cannot fully use the power even a stock Rocket produces .If triumph want to do something for the Rocket they should be looking at fitting better suspension IMHO.

I agree, just speaking from a marketing perspective.

keep it a 2300 shorten the stroke and give it a larger bore at the factory, being 2300 cc it shouldn't affect the torque anything we could feel but possibly get max power a little higher up the rev range and add some hp out of the box. Make it an s version.

In which case it would only be necessary if another bike came along that threatened the Rocket's crown. Given the proportion of the public, including biking public, unaware that it's 2300 anyway it would be of questionable value even then. I still think the focus will be on styling and enhancements already mentioned.
