Ain't we got enough rev happy 'Over-square' ninja blenders making peak horsepower at engine/ground speeds we can't possibly use on public roads and highways? A Lotus Elite goes like a scolded cat down a twisty mountain road or race track. But day to day in the real world a 440 Hemi-Cuda gives the smiles per mile. I could imagine a "S" version with proven tweaks to intake/exhaust and fuel mapping. But changing the whole personality of the motor to that of a mix-master would be wrong IMO.
NO need to change the bore and stroke the engine will rev higher with a retune . we raise the rev limit to 9000 rpm but that wont change the cruising range the gearing remains the same, you dont need to rev the engine its there if you want it . K&N air cleaners a free flowing 3 into 1 exhaust and a retune and youll make another 40 to 50 more HP on an R3 and 60 to 75 on the R3T

When it comes to power I don't think anymore would is necessary. It's a beast as is and while yes it doesn't blow the wheels off of every other bike out there, it's the strongest that clearly lies in the cruiser category.

I'd be way more interested in them finding some way to trim the weight and maintain it's current balance.

I'd buy the Rocket III RS in a heart beat.....
I think, that if you contact Palatino bikes they will sell you that RS model

Thats what you have stock and you probably dont use all of what you have now. How often do you use wide open throttle ?

Yeah my R3 is stock and will likely stay that way. When ever I want to make it faster, I just ride my wife's 1100 Shadow for a week. Then the R3 feels fast in excess.

I got the touring model. D&D pipes and a Triumph retune, changed the seat to a long haul touring with the backrest, added a cruise control (McCruise). It has plenty of power even when packing my wife who says its also comfortable. She is only 105 lbs and short so the bike doesn't even know she is there. The power is smooth and the torque is impressive, its a great bike.

I would like to see a 2500 just cos its an up on the current rocket. With competitors moving in behind, I think Triumph need to stay ahead......maybe a rocket four??...just throwing it out there?

Healey Square Four...

I don't think increasing displacement would add anything.
I'd rather see them make a factory bike with all the performance bits found in the HP kits than screw with the basic platform.
The bike has immense untapped performance potential already.

Instead of the "S" model; I'd rather see the GT model though.
Fly by wire for cruise and traction control.
Six speed trans.
Sub 30 degree rake.
Power cluster tucked in somewhere near the triple tree.
Air shocks
(I'm not a fan of the speedo on tank either, so a Roadster cluster would be nice)
