There's the rub.
Most people looking for that kind of output; aren't looking to put it into a 800+ lb cruiser.
I like the fact that it's a niche bike; but if sales drop too far, it ain't gonna be carried at an affordable price.

Like I mentioned & Ol Bull too; factory OPTIONS for a high output build would be great.
But, she's already intimidating to a lot of riders. Make 250hp standard and even fewer people will see it as an 'everyday rider' option.

The Thunderbird has several models.
The Commander and the LT have 111 ft-lbs while the Storm gets a performance boost to 115 ft-lbs.

Maybe a Rocket III Storm??? Nice badge, blacked out maybe even some carbon fiber.

Just so you're in the know, Tex, and I'm mentioning this not to piss you off further, but because it's true, IMFASTTOO has forgotten more about motorcycles and motorcycling in each and every respect than you, me our other resident "experts" here and and 99.3% or more of the folks in the industry today combined.

He's spent his entire 50+ part of his adult life living, breathing, eating & sleeping every aspect of it at a very high level. does that excuse his perceived lack of decorum? No. But he's a walking, talking human encyclopedia of and about the two-wheeled world and that is deserving of respect.

And yeah, in spite of his imperfections, I'm proud to can't him among my friends.

BTW, the Victory Scout, a bike I've had a keen interest in since it was first announced, is still an abject POS - not a bike I'd go near with a 10 foot pole - 'cause it's got some serious issues right from it's design and the factory both. If you'd like me to fill you in on that in greater detail, just say the word!

Trust me i can respect guy like that i am around them all day...but saying that, when you call bs on something you know nothing about even though i work with it every day, that is ignorant and if if new that much then he could question rather then diss. Look i'm not trying to be a know it all cause there is so much i do not know but when i leak a lil information about a project at work that has not even hit the market yet do not bs my info. sorry for giving the heads up.

Also i agree the Indian Scout sucks...that is my personal opinion not my professional opinion. Facts are that the Scout is the Indians new star. they cant keep them on the shelves long enough. everyone loves them and mechanically i can say much they have not had a major problem yet and they do run better and faster then the sportys and for the same price. that is all i was saying.
