New Roadster?

As they say times change and with Triumph trying to save money they now have Stevie wonder leading the design team as you can see by the Roadster exhausts

He did better than Ray Charles did with the triple silencers.

Have to agree did not like how they stuck out at an angle, just searched the net for Roadster exhausts and quite a selection to choose from, the company that made the sporty exhaust (the small one) also makes one for the Roadster, nothing is cheap but you never know I might be on the look out for a new roadster
When they first hit the sales floor I was at my local dealership the day they got one and I was ready to buy but the exhaust just kept making faces at me but now I have options

hi charlie, these are from the uk from the same guy that makes the butterfly shorty set for the classic and standard, they fit great and they sound awesome, somewat between jardines and tors i would say wihoutout being as raw as the original tors.

these cans are smaller, they sound awesome and they are a top made product, i personally do not like the large original exhausts so for me these are a must.

Rode the Roadster Tues. Liked it. Made a deal for it this morning. Will probably pick it up Sat. Think we came out OK.

Have to run by the Harley dealership to find out how to keep that flat black paint job looking nice. Lots of HD's turned out in it. They call it "denim" and it seems popular. As for the pipes...something will definitely have to be done there.

We trudge on (w/ a fresh mount).

I don't do anything but wash it no wax, no pledge(furniture polish...said to protect it), nothing. You start putting something on it now you will have to do it again and again.

I have spilt gas on the tank and freaked out! The stain looked as if it did permeant damage to the tank. The gas flashed off and left a stain. When I washed the bike it went away. So if you spill some gas on the tank don't have a heart attack like I did.

If the pipes are standard you might be able to sell them but if they are the TORS then you will have no problem selling them. The standard pipes have a small exhaust hole I'll say about 1.5" and have catalytic converters built in them. They are heavy. The TORS have a hole around 2" and are very light (no converters). Some with triple exhaust on the classics that bad mouth the the dual pipes don't realize the two TORs pipes on the Roadsters weigh less that their triple pipes.
