New R3R owner from the Badger state (WI)

Hey All,
I've been lurking around here for a while, thinking about a R3R, so I finally pulled the trigger on a "demo" (had 500 miles on it) 2014 R3R in Matte Black with white stripes.

I just wanted to say it's nice to find an active owner's group that have found the major issues and solutions already..... I have already ordered the Eastern Beaver Headlight relay kit, after riding home in the dark the first night I had the bike, and finding the stock candles woefully inadequate.
Anyone else ever find the high and lo beams cross wired? (one on high, the other on low?)

Anyhow, I am loving this bike: comfy, fast, and fun, and the purchase price wasn't too hard on the wallet. My only complaint so far is my dealer: said they did the 600 mile service (they didn't) only had 1 bolt in the front foot control mounts (where the rail bolts to the crankcase, there was one bolt on each side, as they had dresser bars on there at one time, and then removed them). They did immediately remedy the missing bolts as soon as I pointed it out to them, but I am still on the hook for $120 in oil and filters.....

In the mean time, I look forward to seeing everyone else's bikes, and their mods. The bike purchase may not have been too hard on the wallet, but I can see already this site isn't going to make it any easier...
....welcome, from Austin....box-stock '09 R3T.....two-tone blue....

Another warm welcome to the site from NJ, Badgerbomber.

You really should explain your screen name to us one of these days!:p

Enjoy the ride!!!
