Ride
2021 Rocket 3R
Hey everyone, I'm a new 2021 Rocket 3R owner, I saw another post asking average age and I'm 33, totally irrelevant because, ready, you guys won't like this, I bought it sight unseen from a dealership, freakin money cleared last Wednesday and I was supposed to pick it up and ride it home pretty much whenever after that, but as they've fitted the quickshifter, the tech or mechanic took it for a test ride and it "spatters under acceleration" and has "thrown a code for an ignition coil". I would like to ask how badly will my but hurt when they've finished, and I shouldn't get it unless it's perfect and it shouldn't be at my expense, right?

Did they describe it a “sputtering, hardly driveable, code thrown vehicle” in the ad? I wouldn’t reach for my wallet. Do I have to reach for my phone to call an attorney?

I flew to Toledo to pick up my GT sight unseen. If my test ride had been a disaster I would have asked them what hotel are they putting me up in so I can come pick up my fixed bike tomorrow. Absolutely.

Hi Andy, welcome aboard. No, absolutely you should not be paying for repairs, as Nashvegas said, did they advertise a sputtering hardly rideable bike that's showing an error code? So it's on them to put it right or return your money. I know they'd rather fix it than return your money.

If it was running right when you bought it & they installed a new piece of equipment ,then they are 100% responsible. There should not be any charge to you other than the parts & install of said parts. Afterall you let the professional's install it ?????
