NEED NEW TYRES OR TIRES

I'd try that.... No problems with Avon tho

I swore I would never run a Metz again but had to make a emergency choice and it has been working well. Matter a fact I just installed another Metz since I got good mileage and runs good with the Bridgestone. I was running a car tire with the Metz and it cupped really bad. Got rid of the car tire installed Bridgestone with Avon. That's when I started having a horrible wobbling with the Avon. Went back with Metz.... sorry for the long story.

I reset my speedo to correct on tune ecu at - 2.1

I need to re check my speedo with GPS. Right now using TuneECU it's set at -5.7
Might be off.

The Avon Cobras on my bike when I bought it were too hard but with good tread. Could have been because they were 4 years old. I put an Excedra Max on the rear, just for better wear, and a Metzler on the front. I never had a problem with the Metzlers and think they handle fine, especially in the rain. Compare the tread pattern with the Avon.

+1
The smaller front tire improves the rake angle, especially combined with the larger Bridgestone Excedra Max 240/55R16 rear!

How Rake and Trail Effect Your Motorcycle's Handling - Motorcycle Superstore

The smaller front tire "steepens" the head tube angle which makes for quicker steering - A more "slackened" head tube angle increases straight line stability & comfort

With the 140 on the front, mine absolutely has a difference that can be felt in the nimbleness of the bike. Although it now manuevers much better/easier, IMO it is no less stable or comfortable on the long haul. just did 1160 miles doing the 3 sisters ride in Leakey, Tx with many very tight twisties & ups/downs in the twisties - the 790 miles Down there & back were no less comfortable either.
Go 140/75R17 Avon Cobra front with the Emax rear - lots on here have & report the same results

Correctamundo, Amigo!!!
DO NOT use a 130 front with a R3R and ABS!!!
