My Moto Hobo life

That 3 cattle road train is something else, whole post is:thumbsup: buddy
Just for you Truckies then.;)
Imagine the poor little Solar cars that have to get passed by these doing 140kmh (85mph) on a single lane 2-way h'way.
They are lucky if they survive the shower of piss and sh!t that 3 trailers with 2 decks of cattle provide too! ;) :whitstling::whitstling::whitstling:
Arrhh memories!
The Supermarkets in the NT get supplied from 2000 miles away in Adelaide by big refrigerated road train versions too.
I knew a 21 year who could reverse park and back these huge rigs around corners and into sheds - quite a skill!

Higher Mass Limits (HML) Schemes are now in all jurisdictions in Australia, allowing trucks to carry additional weight beyond general mass limits. Some roads in some states regularly allowing up to 4 trailers at 53.5 metres (175 ft 6 in) long and 136 tonnes (134 long tons; 150 short tons).[17]
A BP 4-trailer road train in the Australian outback with a Volvo NH15 prime mover.

Dang yanks ripping off ideas again!

RIP Blackie!

No trees in the desert so they used an old fence.

If you must see this spectacle with your own eyes before you die it is on CA Rt 62 near Rice. Can’t miss it (but you should).

unfortunately, the underwear tree in Blyth CA was cleaned up in 2018.
Too bad as I might be going that way tomorrow as California is back on F’n lockdown.
If you go through Blythe stop at Garcia for lunch. Great hole in the wall Mexican joint

5 days for that mess... WTF!:banghead:☹️

Looks like it will need re-doing too depending how much the sleeved join is going to stay connected. You can see why he couldn't or wouldn't strap it, he didn't know how and once you grind the mess down to cover it would probably break and need re-doing.

Get those weld fixed fast. Looks like the guy was also blind. Even my worst welds look better than that

Yeah, I should have driven the 90 miles to El Centro. and gotten it done better at 1/2 the price.

To a person, everyone at the RV park said he was great and better than the owner and a tenant there.

After I saw the welds I didn’t want him touching it again.

Sad after his assurances that it would never break in the same place and he seemed proud of his handiwork.

I am in RV Mecca now and will find a reputable place in town to have it redone.

Even the “chrome “ paint he covered the mess with is already coming off!!

You beat me to it. I'm not a welder, but I can stick two pieces of metal together better than that.
That is not a welding in the trade they call it burning metal Bubble gum for short.
They look like clusters of grapes, lol.
