I have now worked it out 3 times. I got 41mpg while touring two up, I got 38mpg on a wee run two up, and I got 32mpg going back and forth to work (hit the speed limiter twice..oops)

Or just raise the ratio in 5th if they want to take the cheap way out.
I mostly get about 36 US MPG, but got 41 out of the one easy tank of 45mph posted level back roads, mostly traveled at 65 or under. My miles to empty readout (very accurate BTW) consistently says over 200 miles to the tank. This on a 2010 Roadster.
I need to check the accuracy of the new VDO gauges as it seems my speedo is pretty accurate based on traffic flow.

GorgeRider, as wacky as it sounds, I've had many bikes with optimistic speed readings and spot on miles traveled. I think it may be a law or something that the odo be accurate. My DR speedo is 10% optimistic, but the odometer is accurate. Go figure.

Yeah we've known for a long while thru Tuneboy+GPS, the Triumph speedos are set approx 7% overread, but with accurate Odo. Resetting the speedo accurately causes the mileage to read low... prehaps good at resale time tho......
