Down to 20 MPG (8.5km/L)

It was from HansO. 20776 TORSMap3rd Gen unrestricted decel plus 5. This was originally the one he gave me for the slip on. I added the Ramair and am still running this same map. He said it would be OK until I got my full exhaust system, for which he has sent me a map for but I haven't used that one yet.
SOME of the maps are too rich to stop decel pop and they are only getting 20 some MPG So change the map

have u got the original tune u can reload and start over?
did u remove the cat mufflers if not they r probably junk by now.
if u chose to eliminate the o2 sensor then it is not going to help to fine tune the mixture.
all i did with mine was to open 100% above 3500 rpm and raise the rev limiter a little and i average 33 per gal and i now have 35000 miles on her.
Have original tune. Cats are gone. O2 with current map is 'off'.
I am running a Ramair though. And Dain slip on.

Just to confirm, you have a 2015 Roadster with a slip on muffler along with 20776 tune +5% fuel. It appears you installed the tune and ran it before you installed the RamAir filter with no problems. The tune shouldn't cause any mileage problems just by adding the RamAir unless you forgot to install/plug in the IAT sensor or damaged it or the extension cable is defective?? I'm grasping at straws here but the IAT sensor helps ensure proper engine drive ability.

Here is one of the conditions a bad IAT sensor can cause from a Google search I just did. I'm not sure if it will always trigger an engine fault code though.

"3. Decrease in fuel efficiency
Another symptom of a bad or defective air charge temperature sensor is a noticeable decrease in fuel efficiency. The air charge temperature sensor sends data to the computer, which allows it to make continuous adjustments to the engine’s air / fuel mixture for maximum fuel efficiency. Any problems with the sensor can result in incorrect calculations by the ECU, which may result in a decrease in fuel efficiency."

On another note, I have a 2012 Roadster with tune 20355 +5% from Hanso with TORs and it gives me very good fuel mileage with no decel popping. This tune is virtually identical to the one you have with the top 3 gears unrestricted like 20776. I also just installed my RamAir but haven't got a chance to try it. Will let you know how it goes as soon as it stops raining.

mine with ramair ,pcv.jardine headders and pipes doing about the same 8 lts per 100kms i think it also has a hanso tune (was done by old owner) but she flys so not worried about the fuel use

Hi Gregger, all of that is correct. The only thing I'm not sure of is how bad the mileage was before the Ramair was installed. I was still trying to figure out the screwy fuel gauge. I only started really paying attention after I ran it just about dry to see what my mileage was.
I did install the IAT using the extension cable. I was careful with it so I don't think I messed it up. If it's not working correctly, will I be able to see that using TuneECU?

I hear ya. She runs good. Just seems a bit much and if she's running that rich I don't want the other problems that'll come with that after some time.
My have to pull a plug and see how they look.

Turbo, was that with any mods, or stock configuration?

Now we are talking motorcycling 101:D the colour of the plugs will tell you if you are rich-lean-or fine:D
