Go for it, the only difference is quicker turn in, longevity and better ride IMHO

Do you have a picture of your front end? is there a visible difference?

I'm on my second set of Michelin's. Only difference is better handling. I love them. Got about 19000 miles on the rear. Never got half that on any other tire.

I average 12,000 on the Harley. That is with some mean take-offs.

Believe what you want. I know how many miles I got. I ride hard on twisty eastern Ohio and West Va. roads and I got 19000 miles on my first Commander II.
I found it hard to believe myself until I tried one. Here's a pic of the one I took off.

So what's going on here, I went to the Mitchelin website, and do the search and it comes back with a "we can't find a match......" for the rocket III touring.

Oh I missed the fact that your using a non recommended tyre size, my bad. Can't say I have ever experimented non factory tyre sizes, so what does it do to the feel of the bike, any upside or down sides?
