We still plan on departing northern Virginia on Tuesday morning the 18th, and riding/driving to the vicinity of Tazewell, VA for the night. The trip is being planned around available EV charge stations, as it is looking more likely that will be our mode.

Wednesday morning, we expect to leisurely follow the Rt 16 -- aka 'Back of the Dragon' back to I-81, and on into Maggie Valley via I-26 (Ashville, NC), I-40.

If in the EV, there is a charge station at the Maggie Valley town hall, and though it is the slower one, it is within walking distance of A Holiday, and I would expect to leave the car there, and watch on the phone app for charge completion, then go move the car back to the motel.

Full, the car should give us in excess of 200 miles. Thursday morning, we expect to follow this route:

MV --> Tail of the Dragon --> Cherohala Skyway --> Oconaluftee Visitor Center (DC Fast Charger location) --> MV [and repeat the top-off at the town hall].

We can take two passengers if anyone were interested in joining us for that circuit Thursday morning.

I haven't thought any more beyond that, other than being around (like Mother Goose tales) @JoseyR3Wales et. al., wonderful nourishment.

We are leaving PA in an hour, also pulling.
We are about 15 hours from JAX and another hour past there, to home...then it's gonna be TWO WHEELS ONLY.

I think frog Togo’s make different fabrics. I know that paper stuff you’re referencing but I thought my buddy had a set of more sturdy rain wear from that company.

My wife has a quality pair of Frog Togs, well made.

Hopefully it is a good Jacket for the frog toggs pants suck and that is saying it nicely, the first time the paper toggs rub against your nice new exhaust you will know what I mean

Pants are a different make with a heat shield on pant's leg.

Yes they sell economy rain gear and high dollar rain gear.

My first setof frog togs bike speciffic. Were good until I slid down the highway up in Siberia a territory in canada
So I used some of the material from the pants to patch the top. Then went to bass pro and bought a new pair of pants. Looked the same material but I'm not sure? Of course it doesn't matter if you have heat shields they are holding up well.
