lower performance in gears

Weren't the early R3Rs restricted in the first three gears? It's been my impression that in 2013 they came out with a new tune and opened the first three up.

the map my 2010 came with had restrictions in gears 1, 2, 3 via the secondary throttles, but once you reached 5000rpm they were 100%.

in gears 4 & 5, they were 100% throughout the revs, but tapered down around 4600rpm onwards.

the speed limit was 194kph (120mph) which is at about 5700rpm in 4th or 4600rpm in 5th, and a 6% speedo error, 6300rpm rev limit.

@legsroses, i'd advise you to just get Tune ECU and a Lonelec cable so you can see what restrictions/limits you have in your map, and change them where required.

I just wrote to Alain of TuneEcu website.. I explain everything about my bike, both problem than changes made..

yes, I knew that 2004-09 (standard, classic, touring) reached more mph in every gear.. 62,13 (1st), 99,41 (2nd), 119,30 (3rd).. 2010-12 Roadster instead reached 49,70 (1st), 86,99 (2nd), 105,63 (3rd).. after 2013 everything is back as 2004-09..

I knew 2007 like 2004-09, so without restrictions, but maybe I'm doing it wrong

exactly, I knew the same too.. condominium rules forbidden me, anyway it will be done if Alain reply me..

Ask him where the best Tune ECU dyno-tuner in your area is.
A competent dyno-tune will solve your problems!

isn't nobody here, not properly at least.. the closest is not less, including going and return, 300 miles.. anyway I could ask, maybe, to those that revise vehicles..
