Bike died Friday morning. Lights came on, no pump or servo cycling.

Gauges swept, hit the starter, nothing.

Thought it was ignition wiring since it's a crappy splice job with a Suzuki ignition. Didn't have time to sort it in the dark so I attacked it yesterday.

Tore the wiring apart and put it back together, same thing.

Ended up being a bad relay which was also the same type as the fan relay I just bought so I swapped them and all is good.

Just making a note for others that have a no start problem, one more thing to put on the list of things to check besides ignition switch.

Yup, 2 relays. But, I've got over 60k miles on an 05 so I guess it's to be expected.

If it keeps being simple stuff like this, I'll be more than happy.

Marcus, could some of your electrical problems be attributed your bike being out in the weather year around? I seemed to have more electrical problem years ago when I left my bike out.

I'm certain that it's a factor.
