A question came up from my friend Cameron, the new owner of my R3T. I never installed the light bar but he is doing it today. He expressed concern that because the Rocket has a can bus electrical system, that it might throw an engine light if the new LEDs he is installing does not have a relay. The shop installed the auxiliary lights on the turn signal bar for the previous owner and and the are switched to the stock switch on the left handlebar. I don't know if there is a relay in there or not. So can we just swap out the silly Kuryakin aux lights for the Triumph spotlights but with the LED lights installed? These are the full lights, not just LED bulbs.

Do you have a picture of what your set up looks like. I have a truck-lite headlamp and its pretty good and some led running lights but they don't add much to my ability to see in the distance. I don't have the R3T light bar at the moment but if I have to will purchase one to get more long range lighting. I live in heavy white tail deer and black bear country and I don't want to meet one if I can help it.

Just a suggestion . . .
I have recently come across a small bar by RIGID that should put out good light.
RIGID E-Series Hyperspot in 6" or 10"

All installed. The issue was the need for another relay with the LEDs. We spend the afternoon installing the lights, cutting and splicing wires etc, and all is good. I bought the spotlight kit some time back, then bought LED lights for it, not bulbs, but the entire light assembly, which I handed over to Cam when we did the bike swap. Everything works and they are extremely bright.
