I almost never ride at night. A set of JW's cost more than my bikes worth 😲
I bet you don't wear gear
Ffs
My gear alone is worth probably all my motorcycles together.
There is no reason to buy these unless you want the best. Others will do but few do a decent job and those that do a good job are about 3/4 the cost.
My truck is a POS but I have $900 with of headlights and that's only 2 units.
It's about the finer things in life.

You would lose that bet, I'm an atgatt guy. I don't ride at night. If I do have to I sure as hell don't play boy racer. I've been running Piaa super high output halogens. I've ridden with people with LEDS and didn't see a huge improvement. They are about $90 a pair, and I get about four seasons out of a set. I just wanted some feedback on what people thought of "not the best money can buy LED lights".

do they cost more than your ass is worth?
Come on you guys. The ****ing Piaa's I'm running now are pretty comparable to the LEDS I've seen. I have them in E-code buckets so they put the light where you need it. I don't need JW Speakers. Just because you can spend $500 for bulbs doesn't mean you need to. Your making it sound like I'm looking at $20 helmets.

my mistake
i thaught that you still had the triumph buckets.
and also i was thinking of myself open range and black cows bad enough in the daytime.

Fred- I had these on my Roadster and was very very happy with them. One went out after a couple of years (got cloudy) and the company sent me a new one pronto!
Lifetime warranty

Eagle Lights 5 3/4" Black Gen 3
I'm kinda liking these. Not adaptive, but again I try not to ride at night, and if I do it's not fast. I like the lifetime warranty. I've had some aftermarket LEDS in my car and they didn't hold up well. Thanks for the suggestion !

Fred I do not ride at night much at all. Less than .05% is done in the dark for me so I get it. So why do you want better lights? If I would comment on my Roadster lights I’d say they are yellow and ugly but they light up the daylight ok. I’ll follow to see what you get and comment on the result.

I like having good lights (within reason) because sometimes I find myself out after dark. I've been running Piaa high output halogens in E-code buckets for years. They are $90 for two bulbs. I get 3 or 4 seasons out of a set. We got home at dusk last night and I discovered both my low beams were out. I threw in a set of Sylvania's I had for now. I thought I'd look into LEDS. JD Speaker seems to be kind, but at $500 a bulb they better be able to give me a reach around while I'm riding. A couple people suggested Eagle lights. They are high output LEDS but not adaptives. What I like is they have a lifetime warranty. That may be the way I go.
