OK Tex,
I was ordering parts to repair my bike today. Reckoned I'd get a Christmas present for myself; so, I copied your instal words and photos from earlier in this thread and ordered up a couple of those HD Daymakers. Found them for $319 each.
I'll let you know how the instal goes after I receive them.

Bull...it's dead simple. The hardest thing you will have to do is find slightly longer bolts to secure the trim ring when you re-assemble the headlight.
Didn't really give it much thought.
Now that you mention it, black may have been better against the chrome pots.
I don't consider my R3R a show bike and bought it for its performance since I be too decrepit to ride sport bike anymore.
Don't really care too much about looks - more about function.
Hi
Installed the black daymakers today on my roadster but also used the Kuryakyn Halo Trims (7749).
Easy install and looks awesome. Will post pics as soon as I can

I was led to believe they wouldn't fit but all Kuryakin said was that they didn't make them for the Triumph. Seeing as I was fitting Harley 5 3/4in lights I figured the trim for a Harley 5 3/4in would fit so I took a punt and bought a couple.
