LED Headlights - Daymaker - 5.75" on Rocket Roadster

You're just being silly now!.

Yes I am, but it's fun to putz around!
But it does work pretty well.
These lights are good enough that they still illuminate at night (no ambient light) above 3.2 lux at about 91 meters (.3 foot candles at 300 feet) and I don't have to continually dip.

So much talk about these LEDs. Just buy the Harley items,( 5 3/4") remove your stock lamps and plug the Harley units in. No problem. They are just great! No need to change the rings..they FIT!
Brilliant white light making you far more visible in the daylight and light up the road like you've never seen at night.
Expensive but only money and no hassles.

That's the thing. The Harley ones in the UK are way too expensive. I've not fully checked the dimensions but I think the JW speakers ones will fit.

I am so sorry for your problems...I have my own as well. Try to stay in some touch. We all appreciate you!
I see the bike as a respite from my own issues and almost view posting and hearing from all as a form of psychotherapy!

If you look at the cost over the time you will be riding the bike...it may not seem so bad. I try to view expenses in this way. Maybe a rationalization but if you spend $600 on the LEDs and keep the bike for 5 years, it comes to $120 per year or $12/month to have the very safest and best illumination. I'm sure we spend far more than this on coffee! You will also get some of it back when you sell it, albeit not very much.
Just sayiin'...

Yes but as posted before. They ain't that cheap in the UK huge mark up. If I recall last time I checked they were in the region of 800gbp for a pair. Approaching $1000USD
