take a look at teh Crank Position sensor too. Maybe (just maybe) theres some ****e on it that's able to move a bout and every so often is just enough interference to screw things up.

There should have been a monster rich PCV map that came with the unit.

Happened again on the way home (completely doused in bug corpses and rain). This time I pulled over and let it run rough for about a minute before turning it off and restarting. It stayed consistently rough (sounds perhaps like one of the pistons isn't firing. it has an even cadence, but it's NOT the normal purr that the triple emits) the entire time until it was restarted, then very quickly returned to a standard idle.

Whatever this problem is, it continues to manifest until the computer is restarted. I'll look into the crank position sensor asap, thanks Barbagris.

I guess I'm just going to limp it along until my pipes and AT unit arrive in the mail. Once everything is installed and I have my PC and ECU loads in (compliments of Hanso) I'll see if this clears up.

I would love to know where those stupid pipes are coming from that it's taking them over a month to reach the dealership.
