That would be understandable, last years was too far west for many, not many Easterners made it. Some of the more adventurous could do both, or at least have more options to choose from, if the timing for one was bad.

Just a thought. RAA around August 21 on the eclipse path. 3 meeting points. West - Central - East. Have some type of Skype hook up to connect to each group during the eclipse.

No. Thats not what I am trying to do. Just meeting some forum members and fellow Rocket riders. Putting together an RAA is too much responsibility and I am not mature or focused enough for that.

I'm amazed at the resiliency of Maggie Valley, it would be nice to find a similar type motel.
