I tried your method and the bike flipped over. Crazy.

If you stand on the left side of the bike, turn 1/4 to the right, tap the left foot 3 times it should clear it up.

When i seen this i thought he was a little off
but now i know there was a perfectly good reason

Couple days after dealer "did something" on fob solving connect problem, it's baaaack. Replaced battery, intermittent connecting. So now turn off fob when off bike, on when riding. No problems. Yet!!!

If doing it for a long time, worth alot! thanks. Now it's as though we use a key, have to do something before riding. At least it works.

I wear my Fob on a lanyard (no, it's not a necklace!), and use the spare for fueling. Can't lose it that way.
