.0432 inches or 1.097mm... if I can see it correctly.
Hard to say if not your probably off by .0001" first thing I did was pull it from the stand for proper measuring. Found it was out of calibration by +.0003" Paul did not have the spanner tool to adjust it ans since I retired I quit carring one on my key chain.

You may be right, now that I took an even closer look. Parallax will get you every time. Then again, just feel could easily account for a small error. I never felt the need to go beyond .001 when reading a mic. :);):confused::D:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

We had parts for the Minuteman missle that required ±.0002.
Course this was in temp controlled room on a jig bore.
 
I do remember my snakebites being a darn sight cooler than the police cells I used to wake up in ! :whitstling:
Ah - SNAKEBITES. I was going to say happy memories - but in retrospect I don't actually remember very much. And these days I don't even need the snakebites.
