Installation of Neville Lush Racing "street" cams in 2014 Rocket III Touring

I know doing the cams on a Honda Magna (double overhead cam V4) is a challenge, because you have to do two cams, them rotate the engine, then do the other two. Easy to lose your train of thought.

I have suspicion the cams were 180 out, not the crank after rereading what Joe posted.

Cam lobes on #1 look to be in the right position for #1 TDC of compression stroke here?

We may never know what was the problem, precisely.

The valve cover came off, the ladder came off, the cams came back out, and the clutch cover came off (this last, primarily for unambiguous view of the timing marks), and effectively @warp9.9 started over.

He blessedly stopped a number of times to consider my questions, and answer thoughtfully. The service manual was consulted a number of times.

All that said, the timing all looked the same to me, leaving me still in the dark as to what was.

Coolant and oil was added, Tune ECU connected, fan test, stepper motor, no codes.

Pushed the starter, and it started right up, as if it had always been so.

I did a small dance for joy, and have a gremlin in the form of a vacuum leak or such to chase down, and should be on the road.

Thank you all, for all your support.

Fantastic news, great that you are back up and running. Big shout out to Warp and the whole crew for their support.
I have been following this thread (as I guess have many others) and it makes me proud to be part of this community and forum.:coffee::)

Just need to hear from you how the old girl now performs with the upgrades.
