Ignition switch failure/ headlight relay kit

2007 r 111 classic sat in garage for 3 months due to injury. So I go to start lil baby , and I hear one click, then silence, lots and lots of silence. Battery is hot, connections tight , bright lights, and more silence. Am I to late for eastern beaver fix ? may be a $1.95 toggle switch? Plan is to install much heavier wiring to any thing to do with ignition. any help would be appreciated----thanks in advance.

take multi meter check volts across bat. check fuse #5 volts? what do headlights do? gauges sweep when you try again.

Thanks for help, the gauges do the sweep, the lights dim, battery tests out o.k., still the sound of silence---will try multi meter, thanks again.

Sorry if this was answered elsewhere . . . I want to install the Eastern Beaver headlight kit on my bike, along with his 8-circuit distro box for those inevitable powered add-ons . . . and his kits are offered with different length leads to go from the battery to the installation location.

Which length leads should I order, please ? Where does the distro box best go on the R3T, please ?

I used the "fairing fit" with the longer leads from the relays to the bulbs and put the relays under the tank. the battery leads were 5' long with ring terminals and used those as they were - there was not a lot of excess wire to deal with. The PC8 sits on top of battery.

when you try to start. key on clutch lever pulled hit starter button that should engage starter relay witch engages starter solenoid ( at the same time it should disengage headlights). if at this time your bat volts is high the motor should turn over,if the bat is low volts the starter relay will disengage and the lights will come back on.
if it is possible to post a little video that would be great.
if you have a vehicle (and you know how! ) you might try to jump start.

I've been looking at that too... I just recently installed the fog light kit (my bike was sold without the driving lights - thanks Triumph) and was in the headlight rummaging around anyway. The kit for a single headlight with relays inside the headlight should fit there just fine.

I have a http://pdm60.com here in my desk drawer, planning on putting it under the left side cover. Not going to take the bike apart (again) this riding season unless I have to so that's a winter project. Will have to fabricate some sort of bracket or similar mount. It's no doubt a lot more expensive at $200 but you never have to change a fuse again, and it can move a lot of power at 60 amps.
