Just a simple question..... why are the ISO grips so popular?

They look hideous to me...

I guess they are popular ´cause you can install them on almost every bike on the planet and you can get them everywhere.

Like I mentions earlier I prefer the Avon grips now that I know but like many others I had to try the ISO grips.

I took mine off when I put the Kury grips on.....has not been an issue. As said these bikes just don't jiggle around like some others.

Biltwell grips are the best bang for the buck, IMHO!

These are what I use and they are pretty fat in the palm area.
I do not know what brand would be fatter . . .

If girth is the aim - then look at Grip-Puppies and similar. These are a sleeve over the original.

I use Avon on the R3.
