I didn't know they were filming me.........

That is an impressive ride by the cyclist. Not sure their rolling 50 mph, but entirely possible with a couple degree downhill grade. I cycled extensively until 2 years ago on a 16.5# Fuji team issue with a campi compact double and have rolled out some nice speed. Once rode from the airport in Las Vegas to Henderson NV in under 50 minutes, we averages just over 30mph for that leg of a 125 mile Viva Las Vegas ride. Its a very flat section and I was in a group of 5, drafting off eachother.

Gotta love a good tailwind ;)

The four other riders were pros, unfortunately I did't know that until well into that leg through Henderson. They finished the entire 125miles at about 5 hours +/-. I bailed on them at Henderson and rode my ride, about 18-20mph pace for the.remaining 90-100 miles. Tha pace would have left as road kill in the NV desert.
