Hurt Bad - Lost a Good Friend Today

My Condolences Steve,
I feel your pain Mate , I had two 4000Klm return rides to Townsville earlier this year ,first to visit a Mate I served with 50years ago who was in remission from Cancer, then shortly after to be a pall bearer at his last muster , your post is a reminder how much we have and lose when a old Mate passes,

I'm sorry to hear this pops , life is far too short and proper cruel in between !
Prayers go out to your friend and to you that only happy memories push the pain of loss away !

Sorry to hear about your mate Steve but as you say its coming to all of us and time to make sure you get some bucket list items ticked off.

I hate funerals too, but enjoy the best part - the wake.

Looking forward to your visit down under next year and you may be keen to see the scenic national capital and Australian and US war memorials along with many other national icons.

Bed and meals no probs here and big advantage on a moto here in Canberra is free parking near all locations for m/cycles only.

I can easily be tempted to accompany you to Adelaide and Brissie as I have people to chase up in both too and Neville's Dyno may be calling me around then too. Depending on the way you go, a good loop back to Brisbane is via Broken Hill. About a 3000 mile, 5000klm loop and add a couple more 1000 klm for detours, sidetrips and sightseeing.

Oh, man...that really sucks. Life changes in an instant and often when we lest expect it. Great reminder why we need to make the most of the day and moment we’ve been given - not dwell on the past, and not worry about the future.

Praying for peace, patience, and understanding for you and Mike’s family. He sounds like a great friend.
