How far do you take it?

Yep there can be...my daily commute is pretty much as you describe above and I get 250km if I run it to empty

Thank you mr. hunt. That makes me feel a bit better, nevertheless it quite bizzar that there would be such an extreme fuel consumption difference between highway and city riding.

Has it had any mods? Before I did mods my gas light came on consistently at 190-200 miles (stateside riding). After the mods my light comes on consistently at 135-145 miles. Still the same 2 gallons left in the tank. The post mod riding was all in Germany (or Europe) though, so my highway driving was an average speed of 160-180 kph (100mph).

Thank you cardinal93 for taking the time to address my concern. My mods include an aftermarket exhaust which I chopped in half and Power Commander.

You get 133 - 145 miles (220km - 235km) which is still way more than my 134km on a tank of 17 lts.

The best - worst I've ever had was 160km on 21+ lts...WOT to redline every gear all day...It was an angry day :mad::mad::roll:

Fuel log since purchasing over a month ago.
Green indicates kms on trip metre when I filked up. Orange indicates l/100km for that last tank. Figures on RHS indicates litres added, price of fuel (98rON) and cost of fuel added. All up I'm averaging 7.55l/100km. Mine is a stock 07 classic. Weekend rides mainly.

I converted to 98 when Nev first mentioned it:thumbsup:. But my Turbo Diesel does not like it:mad:.
I accidently put 100 litres of 98 in it and the only reason i did not put more in is cos I realised i no longer own a petrol car - on the tow truck to the mechanic to drain the tank.
I fill wifes car with 98 but she fills with 91
My mate did the same thing last week with his brand new Amarok twin turbo diesel, only 20 litres but also on the tow truck
