The market always is set by the consumer even if the market tries crazy things. If EVs make legitimate economic sense then they will work out in the long run. It's not like there new! It's been over 20 years that hybrids and all EV modern tech cars have been around for the sake of this conversation. Typically major leaps in tech happen in the 1st 10 years.
When the car came about and replaced the horse it basically killed it within just 5 years. Same with trains, airplanes boats ships, phones, computers. You name it, it only takes a decade for the major new thing to take off. Like smart phones. If EVs were going to work out it would have already so it's safe to assume that for the sake of this conversation that the consumer has already had its say. The market may keep trying for a while to push this further but rear assured Honda or any other big name is not going to stand by such wild claims. It's called marketing.
Did Honda make some special contract it has to abide by for this all EV? No. All ot means is it's going to try.
Imo anything that rides harder and faster I'm all for. I mean come on y'all, we have rockets for a reason. It has nothing to do with gas, it has everything with looking unique and going stupid fast stupid quickly.
Yea the sound is a big deal to most but eh it's a pleasant side effect to the reason we all keep riding these massive torque monsters.
