High speed "sway"

At 3500 miles I had a problem with the nut getting loose. I've had to tighten them a few times since.

I've had the same issues, I've got 12k on my 2014 and I've had to have it tightened 3 times and counting.......

I LOVE my Hoppe fairing and I've had zero stability issues.

I do like the rocket roadster naked but on the flip side i like the touring with the fairing.

Do you happen to know if the Roadster steer head uses ball or roller bearings?

After inspecting tires, checking tire pressure, checking / tightening the bearing nuts I was unable to eliminate the instability. It was very consistent with the fairing installed starting around 80MPH and getting much worse around 85MPH. I ended up removing the fairing and going back to the stock windshield. It's disappointing, but I would rather have a bike that is stable at 85MPH with no fairing than have one that literally feels like it could throw me off.

There were some serious quality control, design, fitment and installation issues with the fairing that I will post about later. I'm in the process of trying to obtain a refund at this time.

I agree that the laid back style of the Hoppe fairing may lead to improved stability vs. the Tsukayu which has its windshield almost completely vertical.

Sorry for your problemas and I be very surprised!
Although I have never run with one, I've never heard of unstability being caused by a fairing before . . .

one of the main reasons(besides im poor)my hesitations of getting a fairing that and finding one I like, always wondered about wind drafts from other vehicles and crosswinds(but we never get any wind here where I live)

NO $HIT!?!?!?!!!

Kinda like that run to Winston and back, eh???

Tracker557 - There's another thread on this somewhere, and it has to do with too little grease on the tree bearings. I fixed my sway/wobble by repacking my bearings.....thoroughly.....not just a swipe of the finger. It makes a huge difference in wobble at high speeds. I also tapped my neck and installed a grease fitting....so greasing no longer requires pulling the tree apart.
