Hello everybody. I live in Pinehurst, NC and I have recently put a down payment on a '13 matte R3R. I am currently out of town on business for a couple more weeks and I swear the time is dragging by... I'll take possession when I get home. I'll be riding nice and easy for a bit as I get used to the torque and power that the beast can unleash. There will be much respect coming from me.

I'm looking forward to being part of the Rocket community and hope to get together with some of the nearby locals for some rocket rides.

Here is a generic pic of my bike that the dealership sent to me. Be safe, everyone.

Hey...Art

I'll be glad to go down there and break it in for you while you are out of town....

Hey, no need to thank me.....that is just the way we are here on this site.

Oh and welcome to the site.

?Darn, and I have been riding aeound Hooterville the last couple days. The four of us, Marland, Dennis, Ozzie and I could have gotten it broken in for you Had a great time riding with the guys and eating BBQ at the festival in Tryon.

Here is a photo of why the BBQ Fest was so good, and yes, before I get some kind of remark I did not edit this just to show the white shorts. Not interested in the others

Welcome from a Northern Michigan guy down in NC for the twisties and BBQ.

Joey and vanguard. That would be perfect if you guys could break that in for me. Shoot down to the dealership, finish up my financing and I'll PM you my address. You guys can have it waiting in my garage for me. Please just leave the title on my workbench near the vice.

While I'm at it I want to give public props to my wife. When I told her that I wanted a Rocket 3 Roadster, a brute of a bike with the largest motor in the world, the only thing she asked me is, "what colors do they come in"?

Very understanding wife, you do know she is going to want a Spyder now That way she will not be thrown off the bike when ro hit the throttle...

You getting a black one? Don't see too many of those around.

Welcome from Downunder mate. Back rest essential if you want your wife to ride with you. These things are scary enough when you're holding onto the handle bars; can't imagine being perched on the back without something to lean on.

My question about the photo is not why you posted it nor why you didn't edit it, but why did you take it.....?
