Headlight problem is back.

Psychiatrists will tell us, while there is certainly a biologic component of our biases in dealing with others, ultimately, we chose to be happy or sad. People have thought about this a long time. John Milton published "Paradise Lost" in 1667 and wrote, “A mind not to be changed by place or time. The mind is its own place, and in itself Can make a heav'n of hell, a hell of heav'n.”

I have faced my own demons -- many of us have -- it is part of the human condition -- and I hope fewer are running away as I age.

Paul you and your Wife are Enlightened and emanate peace and tranquility even when you carry your sidearm.

Green or greener Have never placed myself above or below anyone else. Have always tried my best to help out fellow Rocket riders. Never left a question unanswered. Never left a guy out in the dark with a direct question. No glue let them know right off the bat. Never left them hanging. Did it piss me off . Yes. This guy is supposed to be a guru on electrical problems but he ran and hid. Not impressed. Did we figure it out. Yes. Connection at ignition switch fried Lucky for me easy fix.

@sonny . This may be a shot in the dark, but when I first had my motor apart, after reassembly the headlights were intermittent. I traced it to a connection under the tank.

Turns out the pins were not fully seated and when I was messing around pulled both out slightly from the connector.

Since I know you recently put in cams, I know you were in the same area. I just trouble shot backwards from any recent work I’d done, and it wasn’t hard to find.

Patients brother. Everyone here is willing to help! Maybe step away from it and tackle it with a fresh perspective!

Glad you found the super random issue!

Just poking fun about the grass being greener thing, all bikes can have problems, all brands is all I was getting at.

If you're after a change, can I politely suggest selling no.74 privately vs trading it in? A nicely upgraded and maintained X should go pretty quickly. I would think you'll get more private sale vs trade in, though, not sure about that.

Is he an electrical guru -yes he is and by far the best on this or I would wager any other site
Does he sit by his computer 24/7 no he does not and why should he
He ran and hid, not sure of your World travels Sonny but one thing that the Scots are better than any other Nation and and I mean any Nation is not running and hiding
Another wee fact about Scots if you piss them off they never forget it.
Nice job getting the bike fixed-I do love happy endings:D so are you keeping it now or is the Jap bike a done deal?

#74 going cheeeep only one requirement "good night vision. "

Yamaha$32,000 Rocket$13000 at the most so yes i would hope the jap components are better if not they are bending you over and going deep.
No $32.299. Yamaha has spent there money well. Their ads are not directed at the age group of 25 to thirty five. More or else at the older crowd. The bike is not even being advertised as a alternative to Harley's. It stands it own. Not a bike for the guys with trailers or for the Millenniums. Just a solid bike that is made to ride. Wife is all for it. Dad is all for it. Even my wife's daughter checked it out. She says **** they made a bike sonny has been looking for. Took me a while.

Yeah decosse answered this switch problem he’s pretty sharp and very kind to help, glad you found what we were pointing at
