what kind of LED light did you switch to ? .....anyone have input on witch is best ?

I put in a Vision X Vortex XIL-7RD. I added the module that will keep the low beams on when you switch to high beams. Very good light output. There is a motorcycle version, the XMC-7 which puts a bit more light right in front of the bike to get rid a bit of a dark area as the one I have is meant for Jeeps. Headlight worked great for about a month then started popping fuses the moment I turned the bike on. I don't know what the problem is, and currently neither does vision X or the dealer. IMO its a minor defect in the headlight that's intermittent, as the headlight worked for about a week again, before it started popping fuses again. I hope I get this resolved in the next couple days as I still think its a decent headlight.

so on my 2016 Touring do I have H7 headlight bulb and H11 spot lights ? I would like to upgrade to the best LED bulbs available. Any imput would help....

On my 2015 R3T the headlight is an H4, and the aux lights are H3 bulbs. Of course, I am making the assumption that our bikes are identical being only a year apart.

I just upgraded (?) the aux lights to LED. One of my Aux light bulbs burned out, and they are $15 each at the dealer. However I did go the in-expensive chinese route, and bought a brand off Amazon called Sunpie. Yup... But at $71 including shipping (CDN), so far I'm not disappointed, we'll see about their longevity. I did have to do a very simple cut and solder to the wires to get them to plug in, but overall they really aren't that bad. Their light output is different (light pattern) than the factory lights but the majority of my light output will be the LED headlight anyways (once I get that resolved) so I think these will fulfill their intended purpose as simply auxiliary lights. I can post a pic of them when I have a moment, they are on my phone.

But practical
VERY. I work a night-shift and spend just as much time riding at night as daylight. 57 miles one way through very open country. All kinds of road hazards to deal with. The JW day makers have saved my ass more than once. The parking lights have come in very handy when I pull off on the side of the road.

Did you take the park bulbs out??.if you did then put them back into the connectors they came out of and put the whole deal back in...problem will stop...believe me.

Thanks....
