I read that most accidents happen within 10 miles of home, so I moved.

There is no such thing as " bad fruit " in a jar from moi. If you eat it, be where you intend to fall out. Fruit has mysterious powers far beyond the medicinal qualities of the liquid it's housed in.

I enjoyed the fruit in the bottom of my jar just before bed time .. wow it had some kick

I remember being helped to my room by a couple of helpful ladies after eating a rather large berry around a fire one night.

We missed 2 tornadoes while we were gone

All of the above were taken at the top of "The Back of the Dragon" in Virginia except the last one which was the view from our motel room. It was a nice place and this years RAA had a very relaxed feeling to it with leisurely meals and lots of great roads nearby. The Blue Ridge Parkway is in the last picture. We had some very interesting rides courtesy of 'Goat Track McGee'.......don't ask

I just wanted to let everyone at the RAA this year, know how happy to be able just to be there with each one of you. I know I did not ride with the group much but I did not want to be the weak link in the chain. I got plenty of riding in because my bottom told me so..

I had to keep telling myself that I had only been riding 6 weeks.

The part of the RAA was sitting around talking to all of those new and remembered faces. I plan on being in better shape in the spring......if we go to Maggie Valley next spring and then West Va. in the fall.
