Ooooo, Flipper reminded me. I also have a Triumph "Thunderbird" leather jacket and it's definitely top notch stuff. It has the elbow and shoulder protectors in it so it's a bit heavy just holding it, but I don't notice the weight when wearing it; a benefit of my extremely muscular physique, no doubt. :D

Just bought a triumph rocket III leather jacket a couple a months back. Because I could try it on and the fit and finish was well done. I bought it at a discount price and am very pleased with the quality. It also came with a removable quilted liner that helps in the colder weaather, has the shoulder and elbow armor and a slot for the back armor if i want to purchase it. Zippered vents in the back and the arms and quite a few pockets as well. There are some other features but what I like most is the 1.2mm leather that is heavy when holding but makes me fell better about the protection. Just my .02

mutt

I just bought the triumph expedition boots made with gortex and rode in both hot and cold and wet conditions and they performed great in both. My feet never got too hot or cold. Temps ranged from 103 to 40 degrees with rain. And... I have two Harley shirts and a cap, glad to get that off my chest...I feel beter now.:)

I bought an over-the-top Triumph black kid leather jacket from a delaer that was going out of business about 4 years ago on impulse. It retailed for over 250 bucks but I paid just under a hundred, cash and walked out with it. It's so nice, I only wear it as a dress jacket. Way too god for bug spatter. This one don't have the padded elbows or shoulders. Just for light use.

I've got the "heavy" armored leather jacket.
Armour taken out.
Good quality.
One baseball cap.
No T-shirts.
Still use my old harley branded chaps,
no use letting a good pair of chaps go to waste right?
I do wish I had a "summer" jacket,
light leather and vented,
but haven't seen one.
At least not a triumph one.

I got mine for free via a Triumph promotion. Any Speedmaster or America owner buying a Thunderbird during the promotion got a free T-Bird leather jacket. I think it retails for $499. The dealer still had my paperwork from when I bought my Speedmaster and the rest is shall we say... :D

I didn't bother with looking for Triumph shirts or paying full price for a jacket, just made my own. Put Triumph patches on Dickie work shirts and a decent leather jacket.
Still would like to find a quality Triumph wallet though. ;)
