Art that is awesome....Glad you lost the weight......so how tall are you?? That makes a difference too

I was thinking....Yes it hurt
When you ran the bike on the salt with Jason, Don't you think a heaver rider could have gotten more speed out of the bike.
On damp salt traction is almost impossible to get a good grip on. From the picture of Jason on the bike you can see just how damp it was. Salt packed up on the front of the engine and the rad.
A heaver rider could move his weight toward the back of the bike....and yes I know it is a balance ....to far back and you lose the front end..........Not good.....and to far forward, wheel spin............if you have the HP.....Which I know Carpenter has.

There are a very few times that being a fat boy has some advantage.............LMAO

6'1 and 242 here......:D
well TRIUMPH installed a smaller front fender and all the salt came off the front wheel and went into the ram air intake and clogged the front throttle body and half of the second throttle body SO the bike was only running on 2 cycls so power was way down and it was still spinning and averaged 174+ MPH so we know the bike will fly running correctly and on an asphalt course with good traction and that bike was a 240 HP package the 265 has even more high rpm power and would no doubt run faster

Harley Davidson's after market support is great. After replacing parts that have broke in the last 85,000 miles with American made parts I almost have a real American made bike.:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:
The ONE thing I am envious about HD is the amount of add ons, aftermarket parts to customise your bike to your personal taste. Pretty slim pickings for the rockets.

Can't say my wife did the same, she took the cheap hat, took the gift certificate for the store, raped them on the 50% off HD merchandise they emailed her.....BUT..APPARENTLY..another bike is not merchandise, only good for stuff hanging on the racks..blah blah blah:x3:

The free merchandise actually covered a HD leather riding jacket, she did alright. Coincidentally enough, the salesman bought his first motorcycle from her father in the 70's, gave him a deal on his first one, he did reciprocate the gesture 40 years later, full circle I guess:thumbsup:

When i bought my R3R i got a rubber Triumph logo key fob that fell apart within a month, the tight KNTS wouldnt give me a Tshirt ontop for free even though i asked a couple times.
